The man said he bought the gun after discovering that his wife was leaving him for another man. He planned to shoot his wife and her boyfriend, and then turn the gun on himself, Travis said. The man then asked his pastor to turn the gun over to police for him, Travis said.In other words, it was an illegal transfer? What with all this church/state separation, a pastor trumps California law?
Did you even establish that the "confessing" cuckold was, in fact, a "gun owner" as defined by law? It is Bell Gardens, you know. I merely ask, because he is what is presented to us as a typical "gun owner"--miserable, lost, unstable, challenged in his manhood, dangerous...
But Hallelujah! I've given up my gun and now I'm saved!
The message here, of course, happily brought to us by anti-gun "Authorized Journalists," is that the only way to save yourself is to be defenseless. The "Only Ones" competent to keep and bear arms are highly trained professionals like Lt. Jeff Travis, who push the idea that this nonsense will have an impact on "gang-related crime."
Jeff knows it won't, of course. But he did get his name in the paper, and you just know his actions please the masters.
He's actually pretty smart, in an insidious, manipulative kind of way. I predict that boy will make captain!

Perhaps there is indeed a conspiracy afoot , just as we were warned . The preachers with their 501(c)3 status serve another master -
Ezekiel 22 : 23 - 31
Gets rather interesting once ya get into it .
Man , I love this blog . Thanks for permitting me to post ... I'll keep transmissions to a minimum .
So, did the guy change his mind about committing a murder/suicide, or did he just decide to use different tools?
