Personal Responsibility...

...and lack thereof. [More]
"Hurry, please! He ripped her face off...He's killing my friend!...Shoot him, shoot him!"
Please, come use your special "Only One" powers and save us from our own choices!!!

And they had the thing on psychopharmaceuticals--just like so many other violent feral primates who have gone on an animal rampage...

Machiavelli sure had it pegged.

I can't help but wonder about political affiliations, and sentiments on guns...

And here's the thing...listen to the 911 tape. Listen to how long it goes on. Imagine being in a life-threatening emergency as the minutes go by. Imagine it's you being attacked, or someone you love...

When seconds count...

Another gem from Niccolo:

"When you disarm your subjects you offend them by showing that either from cowardliness or lack of faith, you distrust them; and either conclusion will induce them to hate you."
-Niccolo Machiavelli - The Prince

Almost unbelievably stupid. Keeping dangerous animals with no way to control them IS criminal. I hope this moron has the book thrown at her.

And, of course, living in an area that at least gave lip service to self responsibility sure would have helped.

A 200-pound chimp would have the strength of 6 strong men.
I notice they didn't bother with anything "less-than-lethal" like a Taser. That's because he was starting to target COPS on the scene.
The circus is in town. I read thatt last time a tiger or lion hurt someone, employees standing by used some kind of firearm to put it down. Always a good policy to be ready. Wild is wild, no matter how well trained. Too bad only the Chicago ZOO can be so equipped...

Wow, 15 straight minutes of "Where are they" should wake a few people up.

But it won't.

And remember folks, when owning a chimpanzee is outlawed, only outlaws will own chimpanzees.

Looks like it's time for permanent ban on "Deadly Assault Chimps"!
