There seems to be a strong police lobby in Virginia. Whenever they want something, another 'tool' perhaps, they just ask.

Basically the same as polygraphs - useful for intimidation of the ignorant only. Always have an attorney speak for you. He's trained to be unstressed when answering questions.
At least with a polygraph, you know you're being analyzed. With this technology, you may never know.
Any consensual encounter could be secretly recorded and analyzed later.

Well, I'll soon be a felon, so my 5th Amendment right to remain silent so as to avoid self-incrimination will become a civil rights issue if they do not honor it. Won't have to register my guns either. Sometimes that Catch-22 really IS the best there is.
And yes, the police -- local and state -- lobby the legislature in uniform during work hours to push for more gun control, more search powers and less privacy for us. Every year. Sometimes the newspaper prints a photo. Cool.
