The Brits gave up their own rights to keep and bear arms themselves. They are the ones who supported the police state.
Whatever happens over there, we must use it as a lesson to teach the American people just what happens when you give up your guns. An Orwellian state is coming fast over there. It is already a semi-fascist government in UK. It only takes a couple of more new "laws" in order to generate a new total fascist state, like Norsefire, in "V For Vendetta."
Right now, the UK already put in place it's "conformity police", specialized units who watch surveillance tapes, looking for "antisocial behaviour". By "antisocial", they mean anyone who deviates from THEIR point of view.
This sounds like something out of a nightmare, but it isn't. It is for real.
Yep. I have friends/clan/family who no longer speak with me because I pointed up such inconvenient truths.
I have no sympathy for them. I feel no kinship with them and, in fact, say "Hooray".
That's right "Hooray". Since they sought and approved a monopoly of force for their keepers they have become zoo animals or a livestock herd. They were warned in the present,and all of history has warned them. Yet, the voted away their humanity.
What the Hell good does it do them to tire of thuggish police behavior. The herdsmen don't care if some of the sheep are resentful, they're sheep, they can't hurt anyone.
And there are people in this world who from time to time must be hurt to stop their depredations. Sheep can't hurt them. All the sharp teeth were voted to the herdsmen.
Hey England, you got what you wanted, quit whining. Get knee pads.
