The four kids were apparently rummaging through some sort of trash dumpster and told cops that's where they found the toy gun, police sources told NBCNewYork.com. One of the juveniles picked up the fake gun, put it in his belt and started walking away with the other three kids when a woman spotted the gun in his waistband and called police. Meanwhile, I've been thinking of moving my son's training timetable up a bit.
He's going to be 4 in September and I was planning to introduce him to the ancient Daisy BB gun I had as a boy around age 5 or 6 (or perhaps 8 like Ralphie in "A Christmas Story").
With what I see unfolding I might start some light introduction now.
They'd have a heart attack in my neighborhood, on weekends. Picture 30-40 kids, 10-17 yrs old, all dressed in camoflage, head to toe, some wearing camo paint, all carrying bolt-action, semi-auto, and full-auto airsoft guns, shooting at each other for about four hours. All wearing safety goggles, masks and so on. Warms my heart. Cops have seen them, they don't bother them. Here in Texas, there are several 20 acre plus sites dedicated to these games. Wife asked me why I support this stuff they do, and I told her I'm raising men, not children. They're childish all by themselves. And they know they're only where they are temporarily.
Thet thar one'a yur feral sons, Pilgrim?

Just one of the multitude of things wrong with this country. Lots of brain smarts, zero common sense and out of touch with reality.
For most people (not all), it seems the more you have of one, the less you have of the other.

Looks like, this year, Princeton has turned out its share of folks who just may have learned to support the right to yell,"FIRE" in a crowded theatre.
The word verification is "dements"
