A $400 tax credit provided by the economic stimulus plan may leave more than 15.4 million Americans owing money to the IRS...And add this:
In fact, Recovery.gov lists hundreds of millions spent and hundreds of jobs created in Congressional districts that don't exist.Good ol' government! Why not let them take over health care, too?
It's not like any unforeseen outrageous consequences are likely to happen.

isn't recovery.gov the website they spent MILLIONS on to show how they were spending all that "recovery" wisely?
And who'd they recover that money from? Another case of "buy back" mentality?

Perhaps they should be more worried about foreseen consequences.
Nah, just wait and you'll see job creation. Why, as soon as the "Health Care Reform" goes into effect, the number of jobs for which I can account will triple! Just think: right now I have one job, but in the future I'll be washing windows with newspaper, collecting cans, and building a shelter out of discarded packing materials. It's economic activity, just like when all those houses suddenly found new owners.
Thank you for mostly sticking to the civil rights discussion at this site and not delving too often into things like healthcare.
It is the same way I don't call my doctor to find out more about law enforcement invasions.
Home invasions, I meant to write...
Your snarky insinuation that I am unqualified to offer an opinion on the potential health care implications for gun owners notwithstanding, I note you haven't really negated anything I've written about it, have you?

Health care stops being about health care and becomes a civil rights issue the minute the government gets between me and my doctor.
That being such, David is better qualified to offer a diagnosis than your doctor.
@ drive by anon:
How about when good ol' dr pokenprod asks if you own guns, or when they ask your KIDS if you own guns?
That has just as much to do with health care as the bill the criminals passed in the house did.
ZERO, yet it IS about a "civil right"
