Things to Come

A crowd of people hoping to get federal housing assistance became unruly Wednesday morning with reports of fights breaking out in the crowd. [More]
Now imagine it's a food line.

Especially when you consider they are cutting food stamps so that they can give a pay off to the teacher's unions.

And last week the EPA sent out a trail balloon on tighter regulation on farm dust. So, any dust that the livestock kicks up, any dust that the combine makes during harvest, even the dust the pick up puts into the air driving out to the field will be a fine. What is that going to do to the food supply?

The government just has NO idea.

I wonder how the local job fair sponsored by a congressman at a local HIGH SCHOOL is going. The last one, traffic was backed up a hundred yards to get into the parking lot, and cars were parked on the LAWN too, and people were walking out saying they couldn't get near the recruiters' tables, and the recruiters were urging people to go home and apply online anyway.
The slight leveling-off of rising unemployment claims is due to people giving up looking. I wonder how they make it after the unemployment benefits run out.
But move along, citizen, nothing to see here. The economy is only slightly wounded.

Oh, you know the trickle-down theory of economics? When the big boys do well, they spread it around? Well, they're so scared they're not investing it, they're hiding it.
