Unclear on the Concept

A man attending a block party as part of the National Night Out anti-crime initiative was shot and killed in Paterson, N.J. [More]
I hate it
when
that happens.

Funny, though.

I was perfectly safe both here and here.

You don't suppose maybe..just maybe...it's not the guns?

We should also not forget the "Million" Mom March member who shot and killed the wrong guy -- her daughter was being stalked and abused, as I remember, but not by him -- with a handgun she was not authorized to possess in DC.
No doubt her response was to urge government to make handguns even harder for HER (and her daughter)to get extralegally by making it near-impossible for US nonviolent people to get them legally?

Oh, the recent Night Out shooting was the result of a "loud argument." Yes, we know there are people who will kill you for disagreeing with them, and some of them have guns and other weapons, legally or not.
Remember the NPR intern stabbed the other day in DC by a well-dressed, well-coiffed woman in high heels. Repeatedly.
Any time, anywhere. By anyONE. It's not paranoia, as people who are afraid of armed neighbors say. It IS HAPPENING.
Happening where no resistance is expected, or legal.
