A Real Lifesaver?

Firearms registry saved my life, says domestic violence survivor [More]
That's a whole lotta words for a questionable anecdote that assumes hubby--alone among violent criminals--couldn't have obtained an unregistered gun. And there seem to be a lot of other stories about people who had no such problem--so how a registry would have solved their situation is anybody's guess.

But shouldn't the right of cud-chewers to feel safe account for anything...? I mean, why shouldn't our freedoms be limited by the demands of those who have proven incapable at taking care of themselves?

And carefully registering my firearms on their targets saved mine. Nine dead commies. Although, adding to the count doesn't SOUND that bad.............

I think I read this right. The killer of Nina de Villier was on bail from a previous violent offense that was committed with the same firearm he later used to kill Nina. Why didn't the police just keep it?

And what registry would have prevented that murder?
