Wow, I never heard about her "Neil Armstrong on Mars" gaffe. Not at all. Sarah Palin is raked over the coals daily for "I can see Russia from my house" (metaphor) and "refudiate," though. Even Dan Quayle's "potatoe" still gets laughs.
And McCarthy's "shoulder thing that goes up" as an example of her vast gun knowledge? Down the memory hole.
THIS, however, isn't racist, but rather a matter of esthetics, and how could anyone be offended?
