Survey SAYS...

Aside from the Pynchon factor, there's no evidence poll respondent opinions are informed.  Still, this does show strong general support for concealed carry and use of justifiable deadly force--across all demographics. [Read]

What does all this have to do with the price of fish in Poland?

In other words, it does not matter what their opinion is. What is favored by opinion and what is appropriate are sometimes disjoint.

The right to keep and bear arms is enumerated in the U.S. Constitution along with a number of other rights that many at times find inconvenient and inefficient. A nominally benevolent fascist dictatorship posing as a democratic republic would be favored by some if you asked them so long as it provided them with what they thought they wanted.
