Of course, no mention of any rational self defense. I've dealt with feral dogs, and they are actually more vicious and dangerous than wild animals at times.
They do not have the same fear of humans, and are wise to human ways. It is easy to see them as poor abandoned animals, instead of the killers they can be. I lost some livestock before I faced the truth and started shooting them. I'm very glad I didn't lose a child first.
