Actually, the parent company is Visa Inc. which bought CyberSource back in 2010 for $2 billion in cash and stock.

So if you want to express your opinion on this matter to the man at the very top, that would be Charles "Charlie" Scharf. EMail addresses at Visa tend to be the first initial of the first name followed by up to seven characters of the last name followed by @ and Visa.com.

Dear Sirs Mesdames,

I just learned that Authorize.Net, apparently a subsidiary of your company, has without warning, in a pernicious attempt at "political correctness," eliminated the internet access of Hyatt Gun Shop Inc.

Federal Firearms Licensed (FFL) dealers are one of the most highly regulated of any class of businesses in the United States. FFL dealers have an amazing paperwork burden, and can only sell firearms to citizens who pass an FBI background check.

In sum, your company has, in an arbitrary and capricious manner, discriminated against a business, in a diaphanous attempt to do harm to a legal business, its potential customers, and shareholders in that legal corporation.

Pleas be aware that I will be forwarding this URL - http://www.grnc.org/grnc-alerts-archive/544-grnc-alert-9-24-13-authorize-net-qde-authorizesq-gun-sellers - to everyone I know, in a likewise attempt to cause you as much business loss as possible.

Sincerely,

Ned Weatherby
