Mapping Gun Owners

Now you can pinpoint where they are in Montana. [More]

This reminds me of my thoughts on gun registration, so that collectivists will know who is armed:  Assume we all are -- and conduct yourself accordingly.

Any map that accurately indicates where guns are, conversely also tells you where guns are not.

Which piece of information is more useful, and to whom?
Does knowing that a gun is at a place make you feel safer?
Does knowing that no gun is at a place make you feel safer?
What about understanding the concept that even if you think you know, you never really know for sure?
