Throwing a Monkeywrench Through the Oval Office Window

Since it's troubled launch on October 1 when it could not perform the basic functions it was envisioned to do, Park said HealthCare.gov has increased capacity and is now able to handle up to 25,000 users on the site per hour. Additionally, 17,000 are able to register on the website each hour.

Although improved, it is still far short of the administration's goal of increasing capacity to at least 50,000 people per hour. [More]
So what would happen if each of us got everyone we know to get everyone they know (lather, rinse, repeat), as an act of peaceful protest, to every morning to open up a separate window to Healthcare.gov and just leave it open as we go about our internet business throughout the day?

Remember: The personal data you save from being exploited by known felons (and no shortage of unindicted ones) may be your own.

UPDATE: Looks like if it were actually done on a coordinated basis it would be a federal crime, so does that mean it could only be suggested theoretically, and hypothetically? Or not at all?

Have we fallen that far? In China, they once stood in front of tanks.

Incidentally, if any "progressives would like to revenge themselves on me for this post, get everyone you know to go here and start clicking on the individual article links.  That'll show me.

What you suggest is commonly referred to as "denial of service." I'm quite confident that what you suggest is unlawful. Please be careful.

Yep....I too have a window open on the site. I can jump back and forth keeping the session open while surfing elsewhere.

Too bad the Obummercare people didn't farm out their website buiding to Amazon.com. I don't think the Amazon website even HAS an upper number of users it can accommodate. And if they ever do reach a limit, I'm sure it won't take 24 hours to fix it.

But then, Obummer's website is in no danger of ever becoming that popular. We don't need to attack it. We simply need to ignore it. Let it die.

Batten down the hatches, take care of you and yours. Let this monstrosity collapse under its own weight.

Work out cash deals with local docs, and save up for "medical vacations" to elsewhere for anything big.

Ignore it until they force the issue with violence.
