Shall we see what a source that can hardly be accused of bias in favor of gun owners, the U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Justice Programs, Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention, has to say about boys who lawfully own guns with the approval of responsible parents?
Boys who own legal firearms, however, have much lower rates of delinquency and drug use and are even slightly less delinquent than nonowners of guns.But...but...but... the narrative...

On a mildly humorous note, I posted on his site that the killer in this case was Native American, with a long cultural history of hunting for subsistence and sport, and that Native Americans were very poorly represented in the ranks of mass killers--thus making the 'hunting' connection very tenuous. I also pointed out that most mass killers are white male city dwellers who get their meat pre-killed in nice plastic-wrapped containers at the supermarket, so obviously Whole Foods, the Union of Food and Commercial Workers, and Tyson should more logically be blamed for mass killings.
