There is current evidence that the individual who sent the threats was from Brazil and the threats were automated and spammed (http://i.imgur.com/hHW79Wx.jpg). This may explain why the FBI was able to judge that this was not a legitimate threat, and the school wanted to proceed with the speech. Did Anita Sarkeesian create the threats herself or personally knows who did? Who knows?
