Democratic assemblyman Brian Kavanagh of Manhattan announced legislation last week that would let anyone bring law-abiding citizens into court for a temporary order to either confiscate their guns or prevent them from buying any firearm in the first place. The bill would force citizens to defend themselves to a court of law even if no charges have been filed against them. [More]This is what happens when politicians feel secure. This is what happens in areas where the Second Amendment deterrent is not believed, and thus not respected.
At least this piece of subversive crap gives us more evidence to throw back in the faces of the "No one wants to take your guns" liars, not that they would stop lying.
Thing is, if the ultimatum is "Obey or be destroyed" and some say "No" and mean it, things are going to get ugly and people are going to get hurt. Does Kavanagh think his part in making that happen will go unnoticed and not be taken personally?

I suspect that if we ever have a bloody revolution, that these progressives must be held fully responsible and face the grim consequences for treason.
Such a bill violates so many of our rights and perverts our legal system. It turns innocent until proven guilty and due process on its head. To say it desecrates the Second Amendment is not even hyperbole. Still, idiotic New Yorkers voted for him. They are no longer my countrymen.
