The officer was reportedly hit in the head with a gun, before his gun and badge were stolen. [More]Anyone can be sucker-punched. Certain situations and places can induce a relaxation from being on guard.
I would submit being on the street at 3 a.m. in Chi-Town is not one of those situations.
Not that I want to be judgmental of Harvey "Only Ones" or anything.
Not me. No sir.
Besides, it's not like it was a lot of guns...
And don't get me started on the second incident with the Chi-Town cop. Although what both these guys were doing "off duty" and on the streets at 3 a.m. is certainly worth asking about...
