So naturally, the propagandists makes him appear like he's somebody who matters. Instead of someone who despite national media attention (and Kos lying about a mediocre video going "mega-viral") has a whopping:

"Ex-cop", so we already know he's spent his life on his knees servicing the police state. And he has his guns- and probably connections to get more. Plus, if he gets caught getting one in an unapproved manner the Blue Line Gang probably won't do anything to one of their own (once a cop, always a cop- unless you specifically reject and refute them).
