But doesn't that mean we're all potential murderers? Isn't that one of the talking points?

Does anyone not see right through that misdirection?

The fact that we have to have background checks proves that we can't be trusted, doesn't it? And since we can't be trusted to begin with, why should we be allowed to have guns at all, ever?
That's how the leftists set up the "logic" that they use against us, but the fact is, anyone who isn't locked up can get a gun, regardless of background checks. In Chicago, when they're busy shooting 60 people a weekend, they really don't have time for background checks, so they never bother with them. Ever.
