We're the Only Ones Off-Target Enough

Dramatic video shows LAPD officers fatally shooting a man and the woman he was holding hostage at knifepoint [More]
And "Last week, LAPD killed a bystander during a shootout at Trader Joe's."

Get one more and they'll have a spate.

So "no duty to protect" translates into "no duty not to kill"?

Because everybody knows the way to save a hostage is to fling a mag-dump or two in the general direction of the guy who's holding her.

Aimed slow fire is for civilians and cowards.

(sarcasm off, for those with broken sarc detectors)

It was the first time in 13 years the LAPD shot and killed an innocent bystander or hostage.

...because 130 shots isn't enough to shoot and kill a couple of old ladies delivering newspapers...
