I wish I had the background to add some salient perspective on this. The best I can offer is to suggest picking some keywords and following up on the hits you get on Sipsey Street.
The guy really was a remarkable man. What a shame he died as he did, in such financial straits and with so many attacking him.
History is written by the victors. I'm working toward a history that will honor Mike Vanderboegh and remember his enemies as they deserve.

UPDATE: It appears this was an attempt by SPLC operative Nick Martin to see what the FBI had on Mike, and he's disappointed in there being "no there there."
Ah well, since when have mere facts held back a good leftist smear job? It's funny though, that after Mike's been gone all this time he's still living in their heads rent free.

Having been in similar circles back in the early days I could fill in a few of the blanks but overall this doesn’t look like much of anything to me. After all these decades, and THIS is what they say they have for Mike?
It was SPLC’s own Nick Martin who filed the FOIA for these, per the below URL:
https://twitter.com/nickmartin/status/1092830722480586752 It was a worthless pile of nothing. Great job, Nick. The world is fully informed on what a bad man Mike Vanderboegh is now.
Don’t worry though. I pulled most of Mike’s work out of the internet memory-hole so that history will continue to show the work he really did, in his own writing. I think this link should take you to it all:
