If a Luty can be built with commonly available materials, this becomes a joke - a red herring. I have no interest in building an illegal SMG, but if I were going to fab a terrorist gun from what can be scrounged up it wouldn't be a plastic single shot wonder in a mousegun caliber with a service life =< 5 or 6 rounds.
