BOHICA

In other words, instead of demanding additional gun control, DOJ is enforcing laws already on the books.  [More]
Yeah, enforce existing Intolerable Acts!
Attorney General Barr has a record of Second Amendment support...
Really?

That this is the prevailing attitude within the "pro-gun" community says much.

Nobody seems to know how many gun laws America has at the federal, state, or local levels. I've seen estimates of 20,000 with no serious attempt by anyone to dispute that number. Yet the Left consistently says we need to have a conversation about America's lack of "effective common sense gun safety laws."

Which leads me to conclude that at least some of those 20,000 are not "effective" or "common sense." But when I ask which of those we could do without the "conversation" goes right off the rails even when I offer to trade repeal of the obviously not working old laws for perhaps new and improved new ones.

As Yul said "Tis a puzzlement."

one of things I saw in an article about Barr's program was deeper investigation into denials - but aren't something like 97% of denials false positives?
