I recently told my wife that if Walt Disney could see what his creation has become he'd be spinning in his grave.
The best example I can think of is the mid 1950's introduction of the story of Elfego Baca, when Walt demonstrates the amount of ammunition fired at Elfego in his standoff with the corrupt deep state bad guys by dumping out barrels of brass.
It was a different time. And I believe Walt would agree with me; it was a better time.
AUGHHH! Now I can't get the theme song out of my head!
The crossed guns Frontierland logo alone ought to "earn" one of those new snowflake trigger warnings, and I'm thinking it won't be long before that entire section of the parks will need to be bulldozed over as symbols of racist colonialism and replaced with Genderland.
Want to cause some static? Walk into any Disney store and ask to buy a DVD of "Song of the South."
The good news is that it is available in various bootleg versions of varying quality on the web.
You do want your kids to understand the "please don't throw me in the briar patch" saying, don't you?
