This recalls to me my experience with the "Roswell" reboot. I lasted about ten minutes into the pilot. It opened with formerly sweet, unassuming Liz reinvented as a raving, entitled SJW b*h, consumed by her own precious Latina identity and furious that the “orange man” had cut her college’s research funds, putting her out of a job. (Sucks for the expendable person to learn who she is.) After watching her play the outraged victim of the “racism” of the entire rest of America for three scenes, I changed the channel and never sought out the show again. I like to imagine her still working a COVID-limited soda fountain.
