Well, making sure the police are underpaid, understaffed, and under appreciated is not a very promising start.

In the real world, trust is more like a vase. Once its broken, you can try and glue together the pieces you can find. But it will never be what it was.

Good luck to the resident's of America's blue cities that have gone down this "defund" rabbit hole. You're going to have a bumpy ride and need all the luck you can get.
