Why? Democrat "leaders" Northam and Herring were given passes and rewarded with awesome political power, so why the inconsistency? And how hard is iodine to remove?
I also see a bit of a "progressive" journalism dilemma: If you are supposed to capitalize the "b" in "black" as a form of cultural restitution for discrimination, why would Portland's KOIN See-BS 6 ("Woking out for you") also do it for the actual discriminating practice of "blackface"?
