Blinding Us with 'Science'

Consistent with other studies, we find that American conservatives are more likely than liberals to hold misperceptions. [More]

So they're not only racists, they're deluded!

If you want to see real-world proofs of how irrational their beliefs are just look at the differences in the areas where their populations concentrate compared to enlightened, Democrat-controlled shining cities on the hill, and then look at the superior heights reached by collectivists around the globe!

"Studies show that one out of every three Biden supporters are just as stupid as the other two." -- as seen on a T-shirt

It's a classic political agenda study. Note in the methods, they simply gave people news articles and determined if they believed what they read, and if that corresponded with what the authors believed to be true. All this "proves" is that conservatives distrust mainstream media more than liberals.

In the Soviet Union, they psychiatric syllogism was:

All sane people know socialism is best.
This person does not like socialism.
This person is not sane.

This is the same kind of thing:

All sane people trust media the way we trust it.
This person does not trust media.
This person is not sane.

This is in contrast, for instance, to multiple studies that demonstrate that liberals are much more likely to self-report mental illness.

There has been an upsurge in this kind of revisionist political "scientific" study. For instance, multiple studies have shown that conservatives tend to be happier than liberals. However, a new study disputes that, because liberals tend to smile more in company photographs...

"Public opinion polls suggest that American conservatives are prone to political misperceptions, typically claiming belief in more falsehoods than liberals"

"Falsehoods" should have been in quotes.
The difference is that 1-3 years later, the vast majority of our "falsehoods" end up being proven true.
