U.S. Training 'Well Regulated Militias' – for Foreigners

In short, our government is spending untold dollars to prop up patriotism in other countries while arming and training their civilians to defend their homelands. Meanwhile, the administration and its agencies, with plenty of media cheerleading, is working all the angles to disarm U.S. civilians and label armed heritage Americans, including survivalists, preppers, and believers in civil defense programs, as terrorists and as racists. [More]

Forget the grand purposes declared in the Preamble. No one in real power takes the Constitution and Bill of Rights seriously anymore.

'Member to tell'em, "Well Regulated" means "Well Implemented" or "Well Designed", or maybe, even "Appropriate". It don't mean that "Karen" is in charge.

"Regulated" meaning "Under Gubmint Control" is a Frenchy kind of thing. Or a Democratic one.

Double barreled rifles that put both rounds into the same impact point are "regulated" to do so with solder and shims by a very well trained (and expensive) gunsmith.

Ditto for WWII vintage fighter aircraft that were wheeled into a special testing booth and their guns adjusted to fire a pattern on and around a target until their guns were "regulated."

But in this case, the example I once saw but cannot currently find is a scene from "Sharpes Rifles" where the company is in ranks and at the command of the sergeant, the front rank drops to a knee, aims and fires, then falls to the rear and reloads. As commands are given, each rank takes a turn in the cycle. Units that could flawlessly execute that maneuver even when under fire were "well regulated."
