How do we - I live 40 miles south of Beverly Hills - convey the seriousness - the deadly seriousness - of the right of self-defense in such a manner that it is embraced? That asked, only 5% - at most - will actively take such serious steps to both arm and train themselves. They are the low hanging fruit. The issue is - how do we persuade 60% - 3 out of 5 - of the remaining 95% to support self-defense, to embrace concealed carry, weapons training and so on? As a white suburban, I find it easier to explain this to blacks in the inner city than to urban whites. The former see crime often, sometimes daily, while the latter watch fantasy on Netflix.
Does anybody see the irony of defunding the police and then hiring private security for Beverly Hills?
