That they're doing a full-court press on all fronts before the midterms makes me wonder what they know that they're keeping from us. Or are they really that impulse control-challenged? Or both?

The French responded to their experiences in WWI by building the biggest most bad assed trench system the world had ever seen: The Maginot Line.
The Wermacht simply ran around the end of it.
iI the Left is at all interested in solving the "gun violence" problem, they'll realize they need to focus on the actor, not the tool. However, given the bread crumbs they have left behind over the years, one can conclude that their real target has never violence of any sort.
So watch for them to create the biggest most bad assed system of gun control the world has ever seen.
It will be just about as successful as Andre Maginot's magnum opus.
