I've been asked by one of his supporters to endorse one candidate and replied I can only do so if he correctly answers my questionnaire. And no, I'm not going to name names without his willing participation.
If you're backing someone from the board and want me to endorse him or her, that's my condition. If you don't give a damn what I think, that's fine and means the feeling's mutual, but if you don't give a damn about the condition, you're fooling yourself.
