Put a Fork In It

Sen. Susan Collins (Maine) on Wednesday said she would support Ketanji Brown Jackson's nomination to the Supreme Court, becoming the first Republican to back her confirmation.  [More]

Since when has she not been on the side of the enemy? This is why you never donate directly to the Republican Party, or to PACs that share proceeds with it.

There is one chance left:

“The Senate of 2022 is tied, with 50 Democrats and 50 Republicans, which presents Republicans with an interesting procedural option: denying a quorum in the Senate Judiciary Committee, thus preventing the nomination from being reported out of committee and placed on the calendar, and ultimately moved to the Senate floor.”

Why the "gun groups" aren't demanding their A-graders push for that is for them to explain. I'm leaning toward "You've got to keep the threat level high for successful fundraising."

Meanwhile, Clarence Thomas's health and his wife's political activism put him out on a limb that's ready to break, Roberts still has the Dolly pix hanging over his head, and we'll really find out what Gorsuch, Kavanaugh, and Coney Barrett are made of.

The Deep State is preparing for Republicans to sweep big in the midterms and just making sure the victory will be akin to Will Smith going home with his greatest win only to see a greater loss follow.

Well, I'm not going to touch the question raised about how's she ever going to figure out the stuff that SCOTUS has to deal with if she can't figure out what a woman is.

I'm just going to point out that she going to be no worse for the court than Brandon is for the Presidency and leave it at that.

In the IT business we used to say "GIGO" as in "garbage in, garbage out."
