Acknowledging that questions such as “What part of “shall not be infringed’ don’t you understand?” and “Where in the Constitution do you or Congress presume to get the authority to enforce any kind of ‘gun control’?” would be valid comments from the perspective of founding intent, Gun Rights Examiner nonetheless feels compelled to pass this information along to inform readers of this development, and to give those whose activities are impacted -- admittedly a relatively small (but important) segment of gun owners -- a heads-up to voice their concerns. All those years working in a corporate environment before I was married and I never once thought it appropriate to fish from the company dock, and especially with someone either higher OR lower in the chain of command. I always considered the latter abusive and just plain unfair to someone who is there to earn a living, not put up with advances.
You separate professional from personal. That's also why I never stood for Management By Terror types screaming at me, and as a result, they never did, because as soon as they started working up to it, I made it crystal clear there was a line I would not allow to be crossed.
Never want a job so badly you're willing to compromise your dignity. If you realize the worst thing they can do is fire you, and then compare that life event on a scale of one to 10 to, say, losing a loved one, well, it kind of puts it all in perspective.

That and I would think, aside from hobbyist toys, the serious government stuff would be way too high up. It reminds me of a story I heard from when the theocracy first took over Iran after the Shah fled, and they ordered the air force to shoot down U.S. spy satellites.
I'm actually seeing a lot of potential for liberty-minded people to embrace such technology's early warning and counter-surveillance capabilities. And more.

I actually met Clayton Moore when I was 10, and what a perfect age that was for the encounter. We were on home leave from my Dad's foreign job assignment and staying at a motel for a several weeks, and he was in the very next room for a few days while he did an appearance at a local amusement park.
Nice man. Patient with us. Dignified. Conscious of his responsibilities as a role model. Compare that to what we see today.

In re his first observation, about adjusting counsel to accommodate for physical limitations and age, being part of the demographic that would have to rely on old age and treachery rather than youth-enabled conditioning and skills, I would just have to do what I can and realize I'd probably die if forced to take on what I can't.
God may be merciful, but His universe does not adjust its rules to accommodate such inequities. Some tests, us old guys will fail. Others, we might surprise people.
Not to say we should just give up altogether on the physical--but like the line goes, a man's gotta know his limitations. Plus, I have other priorities that would suffer if I spent the time needed for those chasing something I can never hope to capture.
This will change for the worse in a few years, but right now I'll get several miles with a full pack. No idea how many. After that, you'll be leaving me.
And the world keeps on spinnin'.
