And Remember, Our Diversity is Our Strength!

“Have you ever wondered what it really means to be white? If you’re like most people, the answer is probably ‘no.’ But here is your chance!,” reads the course description. “In this class, we will ask what an ethical white identity entails, what it means to be #woke, and consider the journal Race Traitor’s motto, ‘treason to whiteness is loyalty to humanity.'” [More]
Naturally the same Opposite Day "progressives" promoting this call whites racist, and by happy coincidence want to see them disarmed.

Gee, I wonder why.

Meanwhile, Over at the Rogues' Gallery

An alderman indicted on corruption charges while he sat in a City Council meeting is merely the latest in a rogues' gallery of elected officials to face such allegations in Chicago, a city that over the years became saddled with a national reputation for corruption. [More]
What they really need is a ban on "gun lookalike cellphone cases."

Missing the Point?

Um, no, the point is to condemn the lying "progressive" tactic (is there any other kind?) of smearing everyone they oppose by conflating them all with a handful of racists (a number of which are plants and provocateurs).

For Everyone's Safety?

So the message everyone -- especially "gun safety advocates" should take away from this is -- per an association of gun owners, obeying Intolerable Acts and disarming is critical for safety.

That's not just promoters and venues and Fudds putting a happy face on selling out to ignorant insurance policies? No need for Fletcher to weigh in?

They can't just require carried firearms stay holstered unless needed? Or is it because they really don't trust Americans to be armed?

Thanks for making the antis argument for them. If I were a gun-grabber, I would grab on to every gun show that makes this crap argument (that would be most of them) and throw it back in the faces of rights advocates.

Merry Christmas

The rest of my home office, doing double duty for Christmas..
I thank all of you who have given me the gift of your time and wisdom, whether it has been by sending me stories to help illustrate the preciousness of rights endowed by our Creator, to sending a word of encouragement, to educating and helping me grow (either by confirming or correcting my assumptions), or to sharing my links, allowing me to continue the work.

My Christmas wish for you is that you have as much love in your life as I have been fortunate to find in mine. It surely beats all the riches in the world.

Merry Christmas.

Now: What in the world are you doing here?

It's Christmas. And if you don't celebrate it, indulge those of us who do.

Go be with the ones you love. If there is no one you love, go fix that. Go do something loving for someone.

'These are Merkel’s Dead'

Canary in a coal mine for the U.S...? [More]

Not if suicidal "progressives" have their way:
“Germans should not let the attack on a Christmas market in Berlin undermine liberal values,” ran the headline on the Washington Post editorial Dec. 22.
As opposed to:
“They hate and kill us. And nobody protects us. Our leaders betray us. We need a political revolution. Islamic immigration is an invasion, an existential problem that will replace our people [and] erase our culture.”
And those who agree with the first opinion and bring in even more want to disarm us.

Then again, while trying to get more information on the aftermath of the supposed Tunisian truck killer story, I found all I need to know about the priorities of the West from the "Most Popular" sidebar articles over at The Sun, particularly from entries with titles like "16 AND PREGNANT STAR DEAD."

They're not just Merkel's dead.

#DumpStarWars Distracts from ‘Rogue One’ Citizen Militia Theme

Such a rebellion, of course, requires an armed citizenry banding together as a militia, which, as per previous “Star Wars” movies, is exactly what is happening in “Rogue One.” Protagonist Jyn Erso demands and appropriates a weapon, noting her accepted retention of it is a sign that “trust goes both ways.”
Bingo. [More]
That’s hardly a theme mainstream propagandists are inclined to acknowledge.

This is the quality of "information" the move to marginalize alternative media is designed to reduce things to.

A Right Delayed

On 14 December, 2016, a three judge panel of the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals reversed the District Court ruling in Silvester v. Harris.  In the original decision, the District Court ruled that requiring a gun owner who had already passed a background check, and who either already owned a registered gun or had a concealed carry permit, was an infringement on the Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms. The Ninth Circuit held that a 10 day waiting period was a “reasonable safety precaution”.  [More]

Of course there are bigger fish to fry.  That's not the point. If you see something objectionable, you object. Or at least I do. Broken windows and untended concerns 'n all. Plus, big abusers start out by getting away with small abuses.

The National Endowment for the Arts, itself without any constitutional justification for being, has definitely played a significant role in incubating and nurturing anti-2A and other subversive propaganda.

Stallone has endorsed door-to-door gun confiscation.  Anyone claiming to be pro-RKBA who's OK with giving a famous hypocrite gun-grabber a position of prestige and media scrutiny in the new administration has lost me on the logic of signalling you'll accept such appointments no problem.

Fortunately, it appears to be a moot point:
Sylvester Stallone would reject offer to serve in Trump administration as National Endowment for the Arts chairman

Choosing Stallone for NEA should Alienate Trump-Supporting Gun Owners

“Until America, door to door, takes every handgun, this is what you’re gonna have.” –Sylvester Stallone
That the star of “Rambo,” who made his fortune exploiting armed violence, should call on government raids to disarm millions of real veterans and the rest of his countrymen goes beyond hypocritical. It is contemptible. [More]
Assuming no one in government will have the guts to just shutter the unconstitutional agency, Trump needs to be made to realize that – his personal relationship with Stallone notwithstanding – appointing him to anything will be a slap in the face of every gun owner who voted for him.

Well, We've Already Established He's an Oath-Breaker and a Cheater.

Who'da thunk he'd also be a stolen valor liar? [More]
The Republican elector who has gotten national attention for refusing to vote for Donald Trump at the Electoral College on Dec. 19 was apparently not a first responder on September 11, 2001 as he has stated for years and has a questionable career history...
Maybe he was on a date...?

I wonder how Van Jones is gonna spin this?

These are some quality people trying to start a civil war...

News You Can Wipe With

The organization partnered with Facebook to help determine whether a certain story is “disputed” is financed by billionaire George Soros and a slew of other left-wing funders. [More]
Ah, the arbiters of what is "fake"...

Those frauds oughtta know.

Gotta protect the dinosaurs from those mean old mammals.

The desperation to control the narrative is palpable.

UPDATE-- Just became aware of this:

Brilliant as always.

Trump's Fault, of Course

A US oceanographic vessel Thursday had its underwater drone stolen by a Chinese warship literally right in front of the eyes of the American crew... [More]
So seize some assets here, or refuse to let a cargo ship dock and unload.

Obama, of course, will do nothing but blame Trump for taking a congratulatory phone call, as if the real offensive issue isn't a foreign power dictating who any American can talk to.

This business of kowtowing and walking on eggshells is over -- or will be once the chair is claimed.

The Young Jerks

Rather than admit the prohibitionists have lost the battle of public opinion over the utility of guns for personal defense, they try to reframe it as a move to defend against evil white racist "conservatives." [Watch]

The snotty overprivileged believe they can gin up and egg on social violence and remain above it all.

German Policy Expert: Russia Might Orchestrate Mass Sex Attacks by Migrants to Sway German Election [More]
Oh good grief.

And where's the outrage from the Islamic community against globalist "progressives" for so characterizing their migrant youth as pliant sex attack zombies...?

We're the Only Ones Linked Enough

I can't tell you how many times that's happened to me.

One of These Things is Not Like the Other

Now do it with this, sent by Len Savage under the subject heading "NFA Absurdity in One Photo":

Actually, none of them are "the same." Per Len:
Three break action double barrel firearms that fire shotgun ammunition.
  • One of them is just a firearm under the GCA and can be sold over counter at any FFL.
  • One of them is an "Any Other Weapon" that has a $5 transfer tax and is an NFA firearm.
  • One of them is a "Short Barreled Shotgun" that has a $200 transfer tax and is an NFA firearm.

Fake Newsman

Once again, a flustered Tapper interrupted: “Because the president was born in Hawaii.”
“I don’t care where he was born,” Arpaio replied. “I’m talking about a fraudulent government document, a birth certificate. That’s all I’m concerned with. That’s a violation of the law.” [More]
See how Jake Tapper tried to reframe, derail and discredit the whole subject though, by introducing an unmade claim and then trying to make that the focus?

Lügenpresse psychopath...

So Much for what the Public Wants.

Simply put, two industries that position themselves as mortal enemies have a lucrative, symbiotic relationship.  [More]
There's an Astroturf/grassroots lesson in here somewhere -- but what...?

Were it up to me, the beast would starve.

The Master Species

The fact you don’t understand how small and ignorant this makes you look is; simply an inevitable result of your Neanderthal DNA. You’re not like us. Yes, you are inferior to the Homo Sapien.  [More]
That's even better than "master race"! What an Opposite Day "progressive" tolerant and inclusive viewpoint! And so true to its roots!

Why, if you believe some are subhuman -- vermin, even --  you can go about the business of purification.

Provided you're the one with the guns.

China Syndrome

... Matt Damon ... spends the course of the film being humbled, out-smarted, and re-educated in Chinese virtues of bravery, selflessness, discipline, and invention. [More]
So it extols supremacism? Gee, I guess there's a message in there for some of us projecting "progressives" accuse of that.

Damon's been on board with Chi-com-style monopoly of violence supremacy for some time. I won't pay to see anything that lottery-winning stage prop appears in.

Firearms Friday

I'll be talking with Michael Dukes up in Anchorage again today at 12:44 Eastern.

Ha! I just checked Weather.com and we're 10o colder in Hudson, OH than they are.  Anyway, aside from the weather, we'll be talking about things we CAN do something about.

If you're not in signal range, you can listen in via live streaming.
