May 2017 marks the four year anniversary of the launch of the firearm news website called The Gun Feed.
The Gun Feed is a 24/7 news website (Its like Drudge Report, but for guns) that is proudly devoted to the online firearms community. The site showcases the latest firearms news headlines from around the web and is updated many times throughout the day, everyday.
The Gun Feed was first launched in May of 2013, and since its inception it has seen a ground-swell of support within the firearms community and has experienced exponential growth in traffic. During it's four years on the web, The Gun Feed has covered more than 62,000 firearms related stories and established itself as the go-to resource for the most up to date and breaking firearms news on the web.
The Gun Feed has helped bring far reaching recognition to some of the great stories of the gun rights movement, and it has helped to shape and define the fight against the civilian disarmament movement that is currently being waged in this country.
If you have not visited the site before then go check it out... Bookmark it, make it your homepage, and visit back often. The website is continually being updated with fresh news headlines so there is always something new and interesting for firearm owners to read.
The Gun Feed also has a dedicated mobile page and it works great on mobile devices.
All correspondence, advertising inquiries, and news tips can be sent to TheGunFeed@Gmail.com.
You can also connect with The Gun Feed on Twitter… @TheGunFeed... and on Facebook. It's a really good aggregator. And with routine suppression from news feeds, the dominance of "mainstream media" agenda spin and social media bias, we need all the channels of truth dissemination we can get.

In Monday's opinion, the [Indiana] Supreme Court wholly agreed with Judge May's analysis. Specifically, the court ruled that a police officer, acting only on a tip that a person possesses a handgun, may not detain that person to confirm that he has a license to carry... [More]As George Pace reminds me via email:
Hawaii would be the only state in the nation where this ruling would not apply (should it be appealed to and upheld by SCOTUS), and would allow police to do the stop and frisk because the "only ones" here would state in court "Your Honor, we knew this person in "the mere possession of a handgun" was illegally carrying a firearm because not one single person in the state of Hawaii may lawfully bear a firearm outside their home because no such currently valid permits have been issued."Aloha ʻOe.
Curtis-Gazit argues that Forest Service Road 357 should simply be closed to recreational shooting. But in addressing concerns there or in any one specific location, Williams said, "We want to ensure that we don't continue to move the issue across the forest or into less desirable places." [More]Translation: She doesn't want shooting anywhere. I'd be curious to know the split of residents making noise and those who enjoy living in an area where they've always had access to nearby areas.
“It sounds like you’re in a war zone, especially when they have the high powered rifles and AK-47s,” said Jane Curtis-Gazit who lives less than a mile from where she says irresponsible shooting is abundant on shared public land. A few weeks ago, she said, one of those bullets flew right over her head.Local media sure likes to parrot her talking points.

Codevilla's prescription would allow red and blue states -- especially California -- to go their own way on red and blue issues, rather than trying to impose a particular side's views on the whole nation via the federal government. [More]Yeah, well as long as they remain in the Union, they'll take over all then, unless Codevilla is prepared to be the one to definitively address my "pathway to citizenship" concerns.

Mrs. Clinton’s newly disclosed call to reinstate Dr. Yunus marks one of the most direct involvements in an official government matter that impacted one of her husband’s donors. It may trigger new calls for a criminal investigation into the foundation’s activities but “it’s not likely that anything would come of it,” said Richard Painter, former Chief White House ethics lawyer for President George W. Bush. [More]No, of course not.

Because it shows Maloney for the sick tyrranophile that she is. It takes away the arguments that gun owner rights advocates are “paranoid” and that “No one wants to take your guns.” Of course they do. Every action on the part of these subversives under the guise of “common sense gun safety laws” is just another incremental nip toward that goal, and by going for this big a bite, Maloney shows her insatiable hunger and undeniable lust. [More]She's even uglier when she takes the mask off.
“From that point on, the data started getting murkier and murkier,” Swiat said. [More]Oh, it was murky long before then.
Are Republicans lost in the spoils of power, just laying back and enjoying their super majority at the expense of good gun bills being left to languish? Why the reluctance to move on anything pro-Second Amendment? These are good questions to ask of House Speaker Tim Moore. [More]I have one more question:
Moore was recommended by Grass Roots North Carolina-PVF where he was ranked 4 stars. He was endorsed by the NRA Political Victory Fund and rated as A+. That's a good start. It does get better as Rep. Moore was one of the speakers at a gun rights rally in 2013 organized by GRNC. Given their reputation as a "no compromise" organization, the fact that Moore would be one of the speakers says volumes about him.

There is only one new relist this week – but oh, what a relist it is. Peruta v. Initially a ban on laptops and tablets was applied only to U.S.-bound flights from 10 airports in North Africa and the Middle East. [More]But it's xenophobic, intolerant and racist to focus on the people who convert and carry those laptops? And expanding the ban to inbounds from Europe doesn't indicate the government believes there's a problem resulting from the cultural terraforming there?

More problematic were Lincoln’s views on race. He held opinions not very different from those of the majority of his racist countrymen. Even if slavery was wrong, “there is a physical difference between the white and black races that will for ever forbid the two races from living together on terms of social and political equality.” His solution was a form of ethnic cleansing: shipping blacks off to Liberia, or Haiti, or Central America — anywhere as long as it wasn’t the United States. That memorial in Washington has to go!

But we need to turn to what’s disparaged by the elite media as “alternative right wing fake news,” like a Monday report on WND.com, to find out the “West African immigrant” is a “permanent legal resident” who for reasons unknown had his sentence reduced and was not deported. And no one in government seems to know why – the state defers to the feds and the feds don’t have an answer. [More]Let's hear it for "rigorous security screening," cultural terraforming, thinking where you live is "safe," relying on police for "protection," and "giving attackers what they want." Brought to you by treasonous, opportunistic politicians and the useful idiots who give them power.

A man was found dead of a possibly-self-inflicted gunshot wound to his head Monday morning on a street corner in Fuquay-Varina, according to statements from the town’s police and a town spokeswoman. Police said they’d been told the Robert Eugene Owens, 46, of Fuquay-Varina, might have inflicted the injury on himself, but stopped short of saying that was definitely the case. [More]Here's the statement from Bearing Arms.
Because evidently the danger of “untested” guns that make them “unsafe” to be owned by the rest of us mundanes goes away when transferred to the capable hands of “trained professionals.” How that is so, when a gun making the “safe” list has nothing to do with operator skill and everything to do with manufacturers paying a fee to the state, is left unsaid. But the bottom line is, police are the “Only Ones” exempted and mere “civilians” (yeah, I know, that’s why it’s in quotation marks) will have their lives destroyed if they get caught violating the “rules.” [More]So the guy's against guns unless being for them for a favored group works to his political advantage...? Yep, sounds like equal justice for all to me...

We look to this because it has always been widely understood that the Second Amendment , like the First and Fourth Amendment s, codified a pre-existing right. The very text of the Second Amendment implicitly recognizes the pre-existence of the right and declares only that it “shall not be infringed.” As we said in United States v. Cruikshank, 92 U. S. 542, 553 (1876) , “[t]his is not a right granted by the Constitution. Neither is it in any manner dependent upon that instrument for its existence. The Second amendment declares that it shall not be infringed … .”[Via George P]
Oath Keepers are one of the country's "radical anti-government groups ... based on a set of baseless conspiracy theories about the federal government working to destroy the liberties of Americans," according to the Law Center. According to the arrest report, Paul Richey, 30, of Denham Springs, was arrested for having a firearm in a firearm free zone, within 1,000 ft of two schools. Police say Richey was spotted walking on private property without permission and was carrying a concealed Glock semi-automatic pistol near protesters in the area.I'll see if I can find out more about this. Aside from the BS 1,000-foot rule, how did anyone know he was carrying concealed and did the property owner complain?
