Thanks to the work of volunteers throughout the land, I sent box after box, over 40,000 hard copy mailed-in signatures in all, to the DOJ, where they probably reside off-site in storage until such time as their records retention policy says they can landfill them.

At least it proved that all that talk about supporting the Second Amendment was just that.

I also had to send a letter to NRA-ILA telling them to call off a California rep who was actively discouraging members from signing by telling them that we were, and I quote, "wild-eyed extremists."

When pursued, the actual category appears to be "Websites that feature the legal promotion or sale of weapons such as hand guns, knives, rifles, explosives, etc." Maybe "legal promotion" means you talk about them in anything less than a completely negative manner.

I submitted a reclassification request suggesting you be reclassified as an "advocacy organization." You can do so as well, here.

You bet I would.  Having chronicled how major search engines control their news feeds to omit information that doesn't amplify the "progressive" narrative (and then eject what slips through), and how social media blocks off other avenues for spreading the word, it's instructive to see a window I wasn't watching has been boarded up as well.

Curious -- look how they rate a website that talks about guns ad nauseam, but from a different "perspective":

Fortiguard certainly has an unwarranted high opinion of themselves:

Really? Go ahead and "scour" for yourself to see how you do against "professionals" who charge for their "services."

I suspect the original designation was due to some anti snitching, but this lame response tells me Fortiguard "researcher" laziness, incompetence and bias let that through without verification and rather than doing the right thing, has shifted this blog to a category that's still likely to be blocked.

UPDATE: The squeaky wheel gets the grease.

That's still not the right catgory, but at least this one is less likely to get blocked by anal retentive wi-fi filters.

We'll never know what effect the early and enthusiastic support of Trump and his populist effect would have had on the Ryan/Nehlen race because he opted to make nice with the establishment instead of draining the swamp, and did the same thing with the McCain/Ward race. And Miller/Murkowski. And his picks have all betrayed him, that is, betrayed the Americans who voted for him based on his campaign pledges. And that's on him for not doing the right thing. Weeks in office has absolutely nothing to do with it. I was calling for Trump to reciprocate endorsements, and specifically for Nehlen, long before.  Back when everybody was saying he didn't stand a chance in hell.

The pattern of consistently ignoring his base is evidenced throughout Trump's presidency with the continued exit of top advisors who got him there and the solidification of positions for insider quislings who have never shown loyalty to the ideas that got him elected. How do you blame the electorate for that?

Note I didn't make any arguments that resorted to including your intelligence in the equation -- if it's not that, what are you implying? And note my call was for Trump to endorse candidates of principle, something within his power to sway that electorate. Blaming them solely, offering no viable solution and rejecting the one thing that could have created a chance of change produces what, exactly?
