My Money'd be on Gorka

Conservative activist storms across lawn to confront 'punk' CNN analyst who invited him 'outside' and said 'get a job' in front of a chanting crowd ... Karem started the melee by telling the conservatives that they were 'a group of people that are eager for demonic possession' and Gorka shouted: 'You are a journalist, right?' 2020 is Trump's to Blow with Gun Owners - By David Codrea [More]

Amazing how many read headlines and then infer with belligerent certainty what something is about. I'm also finding out all kinds of stuff about myself, my politics and my motives I never knew.

I see some wondering which poster I am and what screen name I post under. I'm not and I don't. I have neither the time nor the patience to put up with most of what I see represented on forums and I do things and will face all -- even bold chatroom warriors with avatars -- openly and under my own name.

The only reason I found out about this is because I have a Google alert set up on my name to see how my work is propagating and also to see if any lies are being told about it or me that I can exploit.

Virginia Beach employee fired, charged after confrontation with supervisor following mass shooting [More]

No threat was made so a police response was way out of line. So was firing her in the first place if what is being related is all she said and did.

If so, she's right about Wendy Swallow. I also think many teachers and administrators do their share of fueling "school shooter" rage.

Speaking of Dangerous Blows

We don't even need to know what the issue they're swindling for funds is. That they use the insidious term "our democracy" and that it comes from the League of Women Voters should be enough.

If you have a "progressive" partner in your life who actively undermines the freedom "of ourselves and our Posterity," consider your options for doing to her what I'm going to do with this envelope.

We're the Only Ones Qualifiedly Immune Enough

In conclusion, we hold that Vickers is entitled to qualified immunity because, at the time of the incident giving rise to this appeal, there was no clearly established law making it apparent to any reasonable officer in Vickers’s shoes that his actions in firing at the dog and accidentally shooting SDC would violate the Fourth Amendment. We're the Only Ones First Responding Enough

Farhner, of Kingston, Missouri, was driving himself to the emergency room at the Kansas City VA Medical Center in May 2018 because of an infection from a hernia surgery he’d had there. A VA Police officer stopped him because he was going the wrong way in the parking lot. An argument ensued, and one or two officers took Farhner to the ground, according to a suit filed by his family. He was semi-conscious when he got to the emergency room and was transferred to the University of Kansas Hospital, where he died two days later at age 66. [More]

How were they supposed to know a guy driving himself to emergency might be in agony and desperate, with no time or tolerance for being harassed and prevented from getting help, and with more urgent things than hospital parking lot rules on his mind?

But it's OK: The Queen will handle things from here.

On the bright side, he didn't suffer a seizure so they didn't have to take him out on the spot.
