Paranoid Gun Owners

Editorial: There is no plot to seize the guns of law-abiding citizens [More]
Yeah, pay no attention to all those editorials demanding to repeal the Second Amendment in the current Google News feed being promoted throughout the land. Besides, you can trust us on guns: we have Gannett ethics!

Do you believe that loon Ben Carson, actually suggesting to fight back?

And thinking that the Holocaust could have been resisted had more Jews been armed and unified? Where would anyone come up with a ridiculous idea like that?

Or that governments that disarm citizens to establish a monopoly of violence would ever abuse such powers? That's just plain ludicrous!

All these Fourth Estate Fifth Columnists have are blatant lies and Alinsky Rule 5 ridicule. If you want to take a brief trip further down the rabbit hole, try reading some of the comments -- they demonstrate better than anything I could say why it's a waste of time trying to debate with fanatical ignoramuses. You won't change closed minds, and the time and energy is better spent elsewhere.

"No, your move" is about all the engagement I'll give them. I like to hear them resort to contemptuous dismissals because their beloved masters have predator drones and nukes.

Point/Counterpoint

“Six months ago today, Ashli Babbitt, a 110-pound woman with nothing in her hands, not a rock, not a stick or a bat, was shot dead by a still unknown Capitol Hill police officer. Her death has been ruled a homicide. Yet, we have very little information about her death. Our fake news media has asked no questions or sought information about this tragedy. So, I have. And now President Trump has joined me in seeking the truth. [More]

Laurie Roberts of AZ Central (a Gannett Publication) thinks Babbitt got what she deserved and is glad she's dead and that anyone questioning her killing "dishonors" the Praetorian Guard. Thanks, Laurie! I was wondering what kind of diseased statist mind would make victim-blaming excuses for anonymous government executioners of white people and you've cleared that up perfectly.

Putting the 'Barf' in Deborah Barfield Berry

To help heal racial wounds, Black national anthem would become America's hymn under proposal [More]

And if I choose to take a knee, what kind of "racial wounds" may I expect?

Nice of this overt propaganda paean to provide the lyrics... I also like the photo of the "Pro-Donald Trump rioter" -- pity the photographer couldn't snap him, you know, rioting.

Note how this is posted under "News" rather than "Opinion"? "Ethical" USA Today/Gannett doesn't think they have to hide it anymore.

Get Serious

It's time for the government to get serious on gun control [More]
You'd have to be either evil or ignorant to take the arguments presented by this presumptuous incompetent seriously.

What the hell does "Another part is people who are zealots for their cause and think killing those who disagree should be murdered" even mean? And why would anyone want to buy that blurry, over-lit photo of his unimpressive mug?

As for Miller, you'd think a lawyer would be able to read the case. The government's argument was not that Miller was a felon and the opinion issued held that the short-barrel shotgun was not exempted from registration and tax stamp requirements because the court hadn't seen evidence "that this weapon is any part of the ordinary military equipment, or that its use could contribute to the common defense."

The rest of this screed is equally vapid, devolving into outright lies. Read it yourself and you'll see what I'm talking about.

Figures this is birdcage liner is part of the USA Today network, a Gannett Publication...

You want to see serious? Keep pressing.

Nothing Personal

Except you continue to make it so Rehka. [More]

"Progressives" and Opposite Day, you know.

That's why someone so consistently ignorant and impotent can claim both knowledge and power.

And if you'd like more Opposite Day contradictions from The Des Moines Register ("A Gannett Company," naturally), they also claim rights are a privilege to be registered, and publishing names of permit holders preserves those rights... er.. privileges...

We want to tell the world about you, even if it undermines your personal security or just plain privacy interests. And if you act like your rights are not privileges, exercise them without permission and get caught, we'll destroy you.

Nothing personal.

The Non Sequitur Kings

I can't be sure, but I think what they're trying to say is if we would only pass "common sense gun laws" against "Stand Your Ground" and for universal registration, we wouldn't have any more suicides. All I know is they  invoked Trayvon Martin's name and then brought up Newtown to prove their point, whatever it is.  [More]

Funny. Nothing about Japan or cops.

Oh wait: The Courier-Journal is "a Gannett company."

I knew there had to be a logical explanation.

EXCLUSIVE: Feeding Frenzy

Meanwhile, a Gannett newspaper in New York published an interactive map with the addresses of gun permit holders, and another of their papers in Iowa published an editorial calling for repeal of the Second Amendment, declaring the NRA a terrorist organization, making ownership of semi-autos a felony, and killing gun owners who refused to give theirs up. Really. [More]
"Feeding Frenzy," a summary of some of the more egregious assaults on gun owners over the past few weeks, is my latest "Rights Watch" column for GUNS Magazine.

Dangers of Gannett’s ethics violation outing gun owners continue to emerge

“I don't know exactly what he did, but apparently there are a bunch of very nasty people who are very angry with him,” Krafft continued. “The kind of nasty who don't see it as overkill to rape and murder a man's family in front of him before they necklace him. His telephone, cars and home are all listed in his wife's maiden name, and he has worked very hard to stay off the radar. But, unsurprisingly, he has a gun permit and your White Plains paper just put his name and address out on the internet for anyone to see.” [More]
Today's Gun Rights Examiner offering follows up on an ethics complaint.  You can join in too, you know, and I rather wish you would, if for no other reason than to tell some fascist Fourth Estate Fifth Columnists what you think of them.

Who is Jerry Thompson?

I can't seem to find anything out about the guy, and so far, he's not shown an inclination to come out of hiding.

Who is this Jerry Thompson?  If he's going to represent himself a a 2A-defending gun owner with credibility for influencing elections, you'd think there'd be some trace of him somewhere.

Especially with all the way he is now showing up all over the internet, including all the news stories featuring him, from USA Today (a Gannett paper, natch) to the Guardian in the UK.

So if he's going to have this much influence, don't you think maybe one of the "Authorized Journalists" so quick to share his name might be inclined, on behalf of their readers, to ask who the hell this guy is?

As a side note, were I an Ohio FFL and he walked into my shop, I'd tell him I didn't want his business and to get out.  And I'd also boycott any shop that knowingly sells to him after this, that is, assuming he's actually an active gun owner.

Speaking of 'Insurrection'...

'This injustice must stop': Protesters block Golden Gate Bridge, demand immigration reform [More]

That's how USA Today, a Gannett Publication couches it.

Here's what they really want:

Immigration protesters block traffic on Golden Gate bridge, demand ‘pathway to citizenship’

And if they don't get what they want they threaten to escalate?

Hey, as long as it's in a Marxist stronghold, burn the place down for all I  care.

Good thing this has nothing to do with that "single issue." They're hostile to the Militia there, anyway.

If Dogs Didn't Bite They Wouldn't Get Muzzled

Muzzled by Iowa's new gun law: Officials can't reveal whether ARL shooter had a handgun permit [More]
And whose fault is that?

That seems to be a USA Today Network/Gannett Publications thing.

As for Ako Abdul-Samad memorializing Jr. by stumping for your disarmament, the guy was a Black Panther "lieutenant" and Sonny-boy was a member of the Black Gangster Disciples who was carrying a gun at 18 with Pop's full knowledge.

F*** these people, and that's about as close as I've come to typing it out in a long time.
