Legal compliance firm for gun dealers says B. Todd Jones leaving ATF for NFL
“I’m hearing from credible sources that Director Jones will be leaving ATF soon, possibly as early as next week, and leaving government as well, to take a private sector job,” Gun Rights Examiner informed ATF’s Public Affairs/Media Relations spokesperson in a Thursday morning telephone conversation inviting a for-the-record comment. “One source mentioned the NFL is bringing him on board as investigative counsel. This seems pretty definitive and pretty shameful, and extremely fortunate that it did not result in obscene and unforgivable disaster and tragedy.
Why do I have the feeling that this goes all the way to the top, and that any action by Congress will be stonewalled as Democrat politicians charge Republicans with conducting a partisan vendetta, and "progressive" media apologists pull the old ignore, then distract and smear shuffle?
Gosh, it's almost like there's a playbook or something...
