We Don't Need No Ed-ju-kay'-shun

He faced suspension from teaching at Grantown Grammar School because of his alleged right-wing views...Police revoked Mr Nicoll's gun licences three years ago because of the "propaganda and indoctrination" he taught at the school.
God forbid anything other than left-wing dogma--I mean, truths-- be espoused. Only right wing stuff is "propaganda."

Besides, what does he think he's teaching, history and modern studies?

Well, I'm sure they hold teachers who spout radical 'left wing' propaganda to the same standards.

Right?

Wouldn't you think that if he was truely teaching "propaganda" it would come from above and everyone else would be teaching it also?

It was the *bad* kind of propaganda - you know, "extreme right wing" stuff...

He was suspended a second time after he attempted to fight his permit revocations in civil court, where the legal battle became public knowledge. He eventually won back his shotgun permit, but he is no longer allowed to teach as of this month.

They claim that some of his lessons included graphic imagery, some of which sounds inappropriate to me, I'll admit. I mean, by age fourteen I had already seen the Kennedy assassination, the remains of a corpse, and a bunch of violent action and war movies, but none of this was presented in school.
