A highway patrol trooper arrested for driving while impaired has resigned.On Dec. 4, police say 38-year-old Steven Bradley, of Apex, ran a stop sign and drove his car into a pond on Jones Franklin Road in Raleigh. His two children were in the car with him at the time.

Only the police and the military can be trusted with these dangerous machines. Where is Brady on this. Or for that matter, their new ally, the NRA? Perhaps they could write and lobby for Project Safe Roads, or Car Free Zones, or No Child Left Wet laws.
