The Brady Campaign today announced that it and Colin Goddard, an Assistant Director of Legislative Affairs at the Brady Campaign, would be active in opposing concealed weapons on campuses in Texas and other states. [More]Naturally. If his core competency is to be a human target, imagine how the thought of a man who's not helpless and useless in an active shooting situation must threaten his self-image.
While the Bradys expect his story will elicit sympathy from the sob-sisters, I think this pegs what the guy's about as well as anything.
What, they think because of what he endured he should be somehow sacrosanct, untouchable from repercussions, criticism and scorn?
Screw him. And them. He's endangering us all, and trying to impose his will to overrule what is rightfully our choice.
Bare your throat, Colin. Leave mine out of it.

Slow learner. College was wasted on him. It did lead to a very comfortable career, though. Does he share his salary with the families of victims who are NOT trying to cash in on mass murder? If not, why not?
He can oppose anything he wants. In my college days I had the chance to choose expulsion and a misdemeanor concealed weapon charge OR possibly being robbed and/or murdered. I carried. We'll never know how many others did too -- and do.
In one writing class there was this ex-con. Robbed a gas station and shot a man; I looked it up in the local paper. He got pretty belligerent with the professor over bad grades. He blamed racism and prejudice against people who had "made mistakes" but were trying to turn their lives around. The truth was he had neither imagination nor grammatical skills. It could have turned into a Peter Odighizuwa situation like at the Appalachian School of Law.
For about three seconds.
Still another Colon for peace... between this dork and
Colon Powell, aka MC Shucknjive, I think we've reached our overflow capacity in scumbags carrying that name.
Another professional victim, still, he's going to be held as contemptible.
