There are those with agendas who portray resistance to the state as mad.  That's hardly original.

Forget guilty until proven innocent. They're working on crazy until proven sane.

This has been a goal since before
disinstitutionalization, which was
before many of this site's readers were born. Yes, dumping the truly disabled onto the streets was a project, inter alia, of the so called civil liberties establishment. It's the dialectic.
