UPDATE

In re Teacher’s arrest over future school shooting novel suggests antigun hysteria:

The Los Angeles Times is reporting it was mental health issues, not the books, that prompted the teacher to be "taken in for mental health evaluation." The report also differentiates between being "arrested" and being taken away by armed law enforcement.  What authorities would have done had he declined to accompany them is unstated.

Hmm. Sounds iffy re 'concerns'. Reminds me of libs accusations that we gunowners are nuts. I also refer to this about them:

Is Patrick McLaw free to go as and when he pleases? If not, he's been involuntarily incarcerated, which is worse than being arrested. There are several valid responses to a habeas corpus petition about a man who's been incarcerated by the medical profession that would not be valid from the cops -- and one of them, "he's a danger to himself or others," requires no objective substantiation.

Some years ago, a California resident was nearly put away for life for indecent exposure --by two psychiatrists. Chew that over if you think "he hasn't been arrested" is good news.

Don't read my update as any kind of agreement, which I think the way I stated it should make obvious--me, I think it's splitting hairs to differentiate between taking someone away and arresting him--unless he has a choice, they're the same thing under different names.
