Me, I'm waiting for a gun to "go off" when they encourage someone who doesn't know the first thing about rules of gun safety to handle and transport one.

There have been "gun buy-back" programs that have been undermined by groups and individuals setting up near the event willing to pay cash for unwanted firearms. I wish this would happen more, especially here in Kommiecticut. Here is an example from Washington state:
