... the charges were from a domestic dispute between the three and Millicent Weaver’s mother, who was visiting from California, in April. Michniak said he had spoken with the mother, who said she regretted getting the police involved and had tried to get the charges dropped. [More]
This happened in my neck of the woods and I've been following this story since yesterday wondering what could have precipitated the charges. What this confirms is you don't call the cops to resolve domestic matters. Once charges are filed, the wording is "People vs. ..." making the state the only entity that can drop them.
And this whole business of secret grand juries, which only get to hear a defendant painted in the worst possible light with no ability to refute, is abusive of liberty. To convene one over this seems like prosecutors had nothing better to do in Portage County, which ain't far from the truth.
Convenient, how discrediting her in the media coincides with the release of her Shadowgate video.
Just a coincidence, right, and suggesting otherwise is just "conspiracy theory"?

"When deputies spoke with Millicent Weaver, she told the deputies they were going to call 911 after her mother allegedly pulled a knife on them, but didn’t do so and could not explain why."
As if the rest of the article doesn't illustrate in excruciating detail why you never do that.
