No, they're not capable. Even in this very article, the lesson the media supposedly needed to learn from 2016 was not how to avoid believing their own lying narrative, but how to hammer Orange Man Bad in a correct, effective way rather than an incorrect, ineffective way.

Boy, James Fallows has certainly declined in his powers of analysis and in his integrity from his evaluation of the Vietnam Era issues.

Too bad, but I'd guess he's been sinking right along with the Atlantic as a good publication.
